Overview

The Junior Account Manager assists in developing client relationships from communications to supporting strategic planning sessions. They primarily assist other client service team members with day-to-day project management, internal multi-department communication, and gradually gain more responsibilities through his/her experience and acquired knowledge.  They will assist in the management of all interactive campaign cycles, from research and planning to optimization and analysis. 

Responsibilities

- Interact with clients on a variety of levels and functions while managing client expectations
- Ensure all client deliverables are on time and within budget
- Assist with trafficking internal projects by working collaboratively with the Creative, IT, and Media teams
- Contributes to analysis on account progress and recommends tactics for improvement
- Track action items across multiple client accounts
- Project manage tactical implementations, assist in developing new media strategies
- Prepares reports and presentation materials in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Keep team members current on competitive tactics, positioning and communication developments relative to a particular clients
- Analyze daily, weekly and monthly metrics to strategically optimize performance and ensure program is exceeding client goals
- Evaluate, negotiate, and track media opportunities with top affiliates
- Monitor KPI’s to discover trends, issues & opportunities
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with affiliate partners
- Communicates deliverables between the Client Services team and Media team

Qualifications

- College degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field required
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to multi-task and ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional quantitative analytical skills and aptitude including intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Online marketing/advertising experience and/or agency experience preferred
- Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, analytics and research tools
