Senior Media Manager


Response Mine Interactive is looking for a Senior Media Manager to join our team of seasoned media and analytics experts who are developing integrated cross-channel strategies for businesses across healthcare, retail, and home services.
The Senior Media Manager will be primarily responsible for planning, developing, executing, tracking and reporting multiple paid search, shopping and display campaigns that meet clients’ online marketing goals and overall business objectives. They will manage all phases of paid media campaigns from research and planning to analysis and optimization.
This is about much more than keywords. We are about uncovering the business drivers that are specific to our clients. Whatever the factors — lifetime value (LTV), geography, seasonality — we don’t rest until we have a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to grow the client’s business.


- Develop and execute key client media strategies across paid search, shopping, and display channels
- Effectively manage and optimize paid search, shopping & display campaigns on time and within budget on major search engines including Google, Bing and various smaller engines
- Work cohesively with media and account service teams throughout all phases of campaign management – research, planning, buying, analysis and optimization
- Produce and present media planning documents including optimization & testing strategies, forecasting and competitive analyses
- Produce and present weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual results to clients
- Keep abreast of current trends and the latest technological advances in the digital media space and proactively communicate those to internal and client teams
- Manage media negotiations and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with Associate Media Director to create, plan, organize, implement and control the media processes & best practices within the department


- Minimum 3+ years media planning/buying experience, 2+ years online media experience including campaign development and performance analysis for paid search campaigns (advertising agency background a plus)
- Experience managing ROI-driven paid search campaigns in Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo! Gemini, and various 2nd tier engines
- Firm grasp of online media channels including paid and organic search, shopping, display, video, social, email, and affiliate marketing
- Experience with third-party ad delivery technology (Kenshoo, DoubleClick)
- Understanding of pricing models (CPA, CPM, CPC, CPL)
- Experience with manual and automated bidding functionality
- Experience with ad copy & landing page testing
- Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint and internet tools
- Advanced communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Detail oriented with strong attention to follow through
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Time management and multi-tasking skills, as role requires management of multiple campaigns for multiple clients
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
